BJC Home Care nurses provide skilled services for patient assessment, treatment and special procedures as directed by a physician. The nurse coordinates the care of the patient with other members of the Home Care team, and provides education and training to the patients and their families or caregivers to help the patient reach the highest level of independence and health.

BJC Home Care speech therapists retrain patients who have experienced a stroke, tracheostomy, laryngectomy, or who have a swallowing disorders or other disability to communicate effectively.
